Recommended Books for Preachers

Personal Growth

This is a list of some of the books that I have personally read and recommend very highly to other preachers.  There will be a section at the bottom of the list that will contain some secular works which contain some valuable information and insight as to the History recorded in the Word of God.  We do not have to “prove” the truth of the Scriptures, but it is good to have some ammunition for the battles that we face with the world on a daily basis.  I highly recommend that a preacher make a habit of reading the secular classics and historical works.
